If you have insufficient tax liability to "consume" the credit during the year that the system is installed, the excess credit can be carried over to the following year. If you are in a state that provides incentives for small wind, the credit is applied to the "out of pocket" expenses incurred by the end user. In order to qualify for the credit, you should use IRS form 5695. Please consult your tax advisor. And, of course the USDA REAP grant for 25% of the project cost is also still available. You may also qualify for certain low interest loans as well as rebates from some manufacturers and some utility companies. These are absolutely the best incentives that have ever been seen for wind turbines, the likes of which may never be seen again. If you are interested in wind power, we urge you to take advantage of this new program. The available incentives can cut the installed cost of your wind project by 50% or more! Affordable Energy Systems
Harness Nature energy systems are a fantastic investment. The incentives available to Homes, Farms, Schools and Industry make our systems worth more than just a quick look. Included with our Free Estimate is a Return on Investment (ROI) worksheet that simplifies and explains the incentives process. It outlines what incentives are available for your particular project and the expected dollar amount. We base all ROI calculations on the cost of energy today, because the cost of future energy is an unknown. Historically however, energy costs have only gone up, which means that your ROI will be even greater. When you purchase a renewable energy system from Harness Nature we will help guide you through the incentives process. |
